Siouxland Volunteer Center
The Siouxland Volunteer Center is a program of
Center For Siouxland. We serve as a central
clearinghouse for volunteers in Woodbury County to:
- help local non-profit agencies develop
meaningful volunteer opportunities - match volunteers with opportunities to serve
which are compatible with their skills and interests - promote and support volunteerism as an
essential element of strong communities - organize and manage spontaneous volunteers
in emergency or disaster response situations
Volunteering is good for people, and good for communities!
The Siouxland Volunteer Center is committed to finding innovative and meaningful ways for non-profits, businesses, local government, and volunteers to connect.
Get involved – make a difference!
Our Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
Our Siouxland Volunteer Center was officially welcomed to the Siouxland Community by local leaders and Chamber of Commerce representatives on June 28th. We provided tours, refreshments, and an update on Siouxland Volunteer Center programming to a very good turnout of supporters.

Debbie Hubbard from the Siouxland Community Foundation presented their check for $5000 for the project to Kim Dewitt, VP of Volunteer Services. Community leaders expressed their appreciation of our work in the flood response, and their enthusiasm for the project as a community resource to meet needs for many years to come.
